GRANDMA'S FAVORITE BIBLE VERSE

"For God so loved the world

that He gave his only begotten Son,

that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish 

but have eternal life."

Grandma wanted us to love the Lord. 

She read the Bible every morning. 

She was kind and joyful,

and gave us simple advice:

be sweet and honest, and be good to everybody.

When we asked her what her favorite Bible verse was,

she immediately said John 3:16. 

We think it only fitting to share this verse

with each batch of tea cakes we bake.
