ABOUT

You are about to enjoy a taste of the South.

My Grandma taught me to bake tea cakes when I was knee-high to a grasshopper, growing up in Autauga County, Alabama.  She kept a jarful of them on her kitchen counter.  I had to stand on a stepstool that Grandaddy made, but I always had my hand in the tea cake jar.  She brought them to me at college, made hundreds of them for our wedding, and kept baking for her great-grandchildren.  They taste like happiness, and they were blessings to me through the years.

As Grandma would say, “Y’all enjoy! Have another!”
